I came across the Chick Publications site recently - amazing what sort of hate is promulgated online. This in cartoon form, presumably to appeal to those swayed more by the graphic details and graphic emotions than by reasoned arguments. Anti-everything, pretty much: anti-Catholic, anti-Muslum, anti-Jew, anti-Mason, anti-gay, anti-evolution, even anti-Halloween, and much more. I'm neither gay nor religious nor anything else he seems to abominate, but I'd sure as hell be afraid to be his next-door neighbour!
There's an amusing parody of these disturbing Chick tracts at:

I know I'm a bit late on this.... but I just saw it today :)
I just read a few of the cartoons, and they aren't 'promulgating' hate. They do seem to take the extreme version whatever the subject is, but I've seen some of those people.
The one you say is anti-Gay, is primarily anti sin. It is focused on the sin of homosexuality. I know gay men and women, and it is a choice they make. Granted, some gay people just want to be left alone, but there are some who want to have it proclaimed 'Right'. It is sin, just like any other sin, no better, no worse. It is no different than stealing, murder, or flipping another driver the bird.
I have to mention the one you said was anti-Jew specifically. If you read it, you would see that it is not at all anti-Jew. It just tells a brief history of the Jewish people and Israel. It is pretty accurate.

Catholic church exposed him as a fraud many years ago: http://www.catholic.com/library/sr_chick_tracts_p3.asp
But Catholics are not the only ones up in arms about Jack Chick.
